Some quick updates/things of note:
- Found this little tidbit on Whole Foods site:
Landry-Poche Strawberry Farm
Springfield, Louisiana
Established in 1926, this strawberry farm was passed down through the family, landing in the hands of fourth-generation farmer, Rhonda Poche, who grows big, bright Camino Real and intensely sweet Strawberry Festival varieties, which are hand-picked, hand-packed and delivered to our stores the very next day. "This is our heritage. This is what we've been doing all our lives." In addition to carrying on a family tradition, her farm also provides educational opportunities for children with the hope of inspiring the next generation of local growers.
